The goal of this project is to create an interactive museum exhibit that explores Canadian History.
Interactive History could easily be expanded to many topics, each exploring a unique historical story. For the purpose of showcasing this idea, I selected one topic. This exhibit is titled “Rum-Running in the Great Lakes Region.”
At its core, Interactive History is an information design project. I sought to create an educational tool that is entertaining and fun to use. Through designing an interactive interface, this exhibit allows users to engage with the subject matter. Using non-static design, this project takes content that traditionally appears only in writing, and presents the information in a new way.
